The Chattanooga Southeast Tennessee Film Commission serves as an office providing access to information, government permits, a locations database, and facilitation of needs to be addressed or responded to through the State Film Commission. Led by Chattanooga Film Commissioner Missy Crutchfield and serving as an outreach of the City of Chattanooga Dept. of Education, Arts & Culture the Film Commission has recruited such projects as a national Yamaha commercial, "Leatherheads," "Water for Elephants," and American Idol.
